Hotel Cruiser Luxury

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Cruiser Luxury. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist gut und das Frühstück hat uns ebenfalls gefallen. Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel, das wir gerne weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

I appreciated the hotel’s seafront location with direct access to the beach. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s also easy to reach the old town area, where good restaurants with beautiful views can be found. Being able to pay by card was a welcome surprise, as this is still quite rare in Montenegro. Parking is provided, although it is located at a different hotel about a 10-minute uphill walk away, which can be difficult if carrying luggage. When we left, our car was blocked by another vehicle, but the reception staff responded promptly and resolved the issue.

didn’t like that the apartment had several areas that seemed unfinished or poorly repaired. Most notably, there was a strange small room in the hallway in front of the living room with a mini fridge and some kitchen utensils, separated only by a curtain instead of a door. This setup felt very odd and unpleasant. It seemed as if there were some repair works being done and they stopped and throw everything they had inside, covering it with this curtain. It had such a 1 or 2 star hotel vibes and was very unpleasant. The staff at the downstairs restaurant, where breakfast was served, was always slow, and we often waited a long time for service—on one occasion, we even left because nobody came to take our order. Although not the hotel’s fault, the beach was dirty, with many cigarette butts and trash along the shore. On the beach, several people rent out jet skis and other water sports equipment. The jet skis would frequently pass very close to swimmers, creating a lot of noise and a constant smell of fuel. We even witnessed a conflict between the jet ski operators and people in the water after one jet ski came dangerously close to a swimmer. In the evenings, the promenade area is extremely crowded, and the nearby discos play loud music late into the night. This is probably normal for a resort town, but it’s worth knowing in advance—families with small children or those hoping to rest will find it difficult to get any sleep before around 2 a.m. Prices for accommodation, food, and restaurant services throughout Ulcinj are generally high compared with what they offer (bad value for money ratio), in some cases even more expensive than good locations in Greece or Italy in August,. Overall, although the natural surroundings are beautiful, Montenegro feels overrated and overpriced considering the low quality of tourist services. Also, traffic in August is extremely busy, and the outdated infrastructure cannot handle the volume of cars.
