The perfect one bed flat just minutes from the sea

Sehr schöne Wohnung - relativ Zentral.

Keine Parkmöglichkeit in der Nähe. Wir hatten bereits am 1. Tag eine Strafe an der Windschutzscheibe. Nur Anwohner ( waren wir für die beiden Nächte eigentlich auch) dürfen hier und in allen Straßen in der Nähe parken.

Clean, everything we needed was provided. Good location

The location was quiet despite being on a bus route, great for walking to the sea, Marina, Kemptown and the Laines. The Open Bakery at the top of the road in the entrance to Queens Park was very handy for breakfast. We were apprehensive about staying after reading the previous review, but we found that the bathroom was very clean, there was staining to the kitchen sink but I put it down to the combination of Eco cleaning products and the material the sink was made from. The bed was very comfy, kitchen was well equipped. Host had left out a couple of chocolates, small bottle of milk, tea selection and ground coffee for the Moka pot. The host responded to my queries.

Just a small hiccup and one I was mindful of before travelling, our arrival time was agreed at 3pm in an email at the time of booking, but the day before my host said 4pm, when I pointed out the time stated on Booking.com website and referred her back to my original email, 3pm was then ok. When we turned up at 2.30pm the cleaner explained that they had not quite finished and would it be ok to come back, which was fine as we were early due ok traffic.

Cute little chocolate left out for us on arrival, nice selection of teas available, all the utilities like iron, washing machine, tumble dryer etc. Great location, nice decor in bathroom, comfy bed and pillows, cute little courtyard. Good WiFi. Good heated towel rail, great powerful shower.

Smells quite damp, especially the sofa which smells like it's got wet and hasn't dried. Smells especially damp in wardrobe. Significant black mould on shower floor. Table outside is very rusty and patio needs a good clean- we were nervous to sit on it in case we got rust stains on clothes. Kitchen sink needs a good scrub. Host could be a little more responsive on message- we never got a reply about whether there was an iron, so brought one with us. We were also told check in 4pm, when it was advertised for 3pm. She did correct this though, as we were on our way in the car.
