Freezing cold cottage.
The wonky floors and trampoline matttresses
Night storage heaters which were never on. They turned off anyway at 8pm so we had to go to bed early! The cottage was freezing cold day and night. We left a day early because of the cold.

Cosy traditional small sea fishing village cottage charm. If you’re wanting to live the essence of Polperro you must opt for a one of the small cottage accommodations. This quaint cottage boasts a cosy living room with ample seating. A fully equipped kitchen with a nice sunny sitting out area at the front. The master bedroom has a storage closet for hanging your clothes and a super comfy bed. There is a single bedroom and a clean functional shower bathroom. There are close by cafes for breakfast that serve amazing coffee accompanied by the smell of fresh baking. The harbour is a short stretch away, perfect for watching the sun rise and set. Overall we loved our stay here and would highly recommend.
There isn’t anything to dislike. Just be aware of the parking in the village itself. Parking and manoeuvring is difficult as the village is old and not obviously designed for large modern day cars. The cottage parking allocation is roughly 4-500m up the street, potentially not ideal for the elderly or disabled as it is quite a steep walk back up to collect the car (fine for us) but something to consider when staying in Polperro.
