I really enjoyed the versatile kitchen, the comfortable bed and the location of the property. The owners were also very timely in their responses and made an effort to find workarounds whenever issues came up, which I appreciated. These were definitely some of the highlights of my stay despite the inconveniences experienced.

My main concern was that the toilet was flooding the bathroom. While I understand that maintenance issues can happen, I would have appreciated being notified beforehand. Upon arrival, I found a wet towel thrown on the floor in an attempt to soak up the water. When I approached the ground staff, they informed me that this was a known issue and advised me to contact the owners. The fact that the room next to mine also had a leak further suggests that the ground staff were aware of the ongoing water issues, which I feel should have been communicated to guests beforehand. This was a considerable inconvenience, as a large portion of my stay was spent cleaning up the water and trying to keep the bathroom floor dry, rather than relaxing and enjoying my time there. There was also a horrible, foul-smelling pile of what appeared to be mould or some other substance outside the window. I couldn't confirm what it was due to the strong smell coming from the leaking window seal. Additionally, the bins had not been emptied. Another concern was that the advertisement stated that the property had both an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, but upon arrival, I found that there was only an outdoor pool. This was misleading, as the availability of both pools formed part of what I expected when booking the accommodation. While I understand that issues can arise, the combination of these problems negatively affected my overall experience. My main frustration is that the leaking toilet was a known issue, and I would have appreciated being informed beforehand. Between spending my time cleaning up water, the foul smell outside the window, the bins not being emptied and the advertised indoor pool not being available, the stay did not meet the expectations set by the listing.
