Had an excellent stay at the Chakras Valley homestay. Run by retired army couple and their smart son Nitish - it feels absolutely at home. Nitish called us Multiple times to guide us to property while we were driving and post reaching chalked out our plan for sightseeing based on his knowledge and experience . The ‘pahadi’ or the mountain food cooked by his mother was simple yet tasty and nourishing and we relished every bit of it . On top of it - The food is all home grown. The views of the Himalayas from the property are stunning and you wake you looking at Himalayan peaks and beautiful sunrise. There are numerous exotic birds which visit you and wake you up in the morning. There is bonfire in the evening where all guests can meet and chat . We would recommend it to everyone!

Beautiful homestay overlooking the valley. The meals are delicious and made with organic veggies from the garden. Very peaceful place, I wish I could stay longer :)
