The garden lodge was a fantastic place to stay. The garden itself was amazing, a really beautiful walled garden full of wonderful flowers, with bees and butterflies. The lodge was lovely, very comfortable place with two bedrooms and a spacious living/dining/kitchen room. Very close to the sea and the clifftop path. Really quiet, at the end of a deadend road, with easy parking.
The lodge is in St Lawrence, which doesn't have any shops, it was a 10 minute drive to the nearest shop and there wasn't really anything much reachable on foot.

The location is perfect. Gorgous would still be underselling it. Everything worked perfectly. Would definitely stay there again.
We arrived late in the evening. I think we drove past the property twice before we identified it. So points in stealth but maybe a larger plaque for the house name would help.

The adjacent walled garden was a very nice addition to the property. Despite the very remote location, shops and places were easy to reach. We enjoyed our first time on the Isle of Wight.
The dishwasher could've done with a bit of TLC (topping up and general maintenance). We hand-washed all the crockery and cutlery before use. Like with most self-catering places, they're more suited for couples getting takeaways rather than young families.
