Yosemite Sunrise Retreats

The house was fully equipped with top line items. Very clean, very comfortable. A lot of toys and games for the kids. Quite area and feels like coming back home after long day in Yosemite. We will be back. The host was available at any time to answer all our needs.

Cell phone connection was not so good but we had a great wifi.

House was very clean. Loved the pool, the hot tub and the pool table. Great lighting and ambiance. Country living in comfort.

Back yard could use a little maintanance. Just weeds and a few pieces of trash we picked up. Wasnt bad, but could have been a little better. Being a little picky here.

The interior of the home was very clean without a lot of knicknacks etc to overwhelm the space. We appreciated the simplicity. The beds were very comfortable, and the number of bathrooms was really nice. The kitchen had what we needed to cook and eat during our time in Yosemite. The drive the park is about 50 minutes, but it wasn't bad if you left by 6:45am to beat the crowds. Overall, we were very happy with the inside of the home and the quietness of the property.

We paid more for the larger of the two properties because of the pool and outdoor space. However, the pool was extremely dirty. There were rocks, dirt, large bugs, leaves etc in it making it undesirable to swim. The owner did have the pool cleaners come out immediately, but they were unable to clean the pool. They said the vacuum didn't really work, and that the owner had been informed before this but was unwilling to buy a new one. I cannot verify that statement, only that the outdoor space was not welcoming at all. My children were unwilling to even get in because of the dirtiness. The hot tub was likewise quite dirty. I communicate all of this to the owner, but after sending the pool "cleaners", she did not follow up. I wish I had booked the smaller of the two properties on site as the extra cost for the outdoor space was wasted.
