The location was spot on and right next to the A55! Dead easy to get on as my parents don't live too far away. The facilities were spot on - no issues and the layout was great! We even met the owner who was so lovely and kind. We took our dog with us and, even though we had teething issues with him the first night the second night he was fine and comfortable.
We were here in the peak of the heatwave so the house was roasting - which we understand cannot be helped at all. However, would've appreciated maybe a fan or two to assist us to cool down and cool our doggo down. Because you are next to the dual carriageway it can be really loud with the windows open, so in the summer maybe some ear plugs or loop ear pieces would be needed when all the windows are open.

Garden lights were not working , difficult to see when returning in the dark and the same outside the main gate when parking the car so for an older guest could be difficult on your footing. The hotel did not appear to be open for meals during the evening!!

It was very clean, comfortable and well laid out accommodation maintained to a high standard and plenty of kitchen equipment, cups and glasses.
