Deck, Mountain Views: Colorful Retreat in Vernon!

We had a wonderful stay at Deck Mountain View! The place is peaceful, beautifully kept, and surrounded by stunning views — a perfect Vermont getaway. Maggie was fantastic: always pleasant, quick to respond to messages and phone calls, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Her kindness made everything even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this lovely spot for anyone looking to relax and recharge in nature!

This was a charming A-frame located in a quiet section of southern Vermont. Brattleboro was only 20 minutes away with its historic charm and many restaurants and breweries. And yet the Vernon town forest was just a short walk from the house. It has the unusual feature of having a swamp located up on the mountainside and some rare Black Gum trees which makes is well worth the short hike. The house was impeccably clean and decorated in a charming and artistic fashion. If I could have a vacation home of my own, I would want it to be just like this one.

It didn't have a microwave, but it wasn't a big deal. There was a full, well stocked kitchen with all of the necessary requirements as well as a killer Ninja toaster oven.
