Unfortunately we had to move rooms in the house because we couldn’t get the first room for two nights. The code we were given for the second room didn’t work,so initially we were panicking because my mobile phone didn’t work in the USA and if it hadn’t been for another English couple staying there who let me use their phone to call the number on the rental email,we would not have got the new door code as no one had emailed us to let us know of the change.

It was quaint and quiet. The room was clean and well equipped with a coffee machine, microwave and toaster oven. It is a short drive into Lunenberg or a reasonably short walk.
We stayed in room 5 and there are a few sets of stairs to get up. It wasn’t a big issue but it may be for anyone who wasn’t able to lift their luggage up the stairs.

Apartments are just ok.
ExpThe apartment #3 had a strong unpleasant smell. It’s unacceptable to let such apartment for people. We had to air it out - it helped a little but the smell didn’t stop. Also, absence of decorations make the apartments dull and not memorable. I can’t recommend them to my friends or family.
