Cosy Cabin close to Lake

Cosy Cabin Next to the Lake was a truly wonderful, warm and relaxing experience for us. We would like to thank Ania for giving us the opportunity to enjoy a stay that was made as comfortable and pleasant as possible thanks to her care and attention to detail. She has thought of everything – in the house, in the garden, around the barbecue area, and even for families with children. It is clear that she has put her heart and soul into this place, and you can both see and feel it. The small cottage where my husband and I stayed had absolutely everything we needed: a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, and much more. The only thing it doesn't have is a TV, but for us that was not a drawback at all. Towels, bed linens, and other essentials are neatly organized in separate cupboards with clear labels, making it easy to find whatever you need. The garden is beautifully maintained, with freshly cut, soft grass. I love walking barefoot, so this was a particular pleasure for me. There is also a lovely gazebo with comfortable furniture and a canopy, making it the perfect spot for meals or a morning coffee. Nearby, you'll find a fire pit and barbecue facilities – in fact, there are three grills available! During one of the nights, other guests were staying in the larger house, but there were no issues at all with sharing the garden or barbecue areas. There is plenty of space for everyone, including another large garden and outdoor seating area by the main house. The entire garden is filled with flowers, and we were lucky enough to visit during the blooming season of the magnificent rhododendron bushes. The whole village is neat, clean, peaceful and welcoming. Countless birds are singing, creating a truly idyllic atmosphere. My husband and I enjoy exploring different places around Skåne and often spend weekends in various accommodations. After our stay at Moonstone Meadow, this place has taken num.1 spot among all the places we have visited so far.

I really loved how close the cabin was to the lake and how natural everything inside and around was. A great location for people who want to relax, be it alone, with a partner or with children. The neighbours in the second house had two dogs with them, so I can confirm that bringing pets isn't a problem. There's lots of space in the garden, a lovely pavilion with fairy lights to sit in, and tables for relaxed meals outside. The surrounding area was really calm too. Also loved the recommended day trips/attractions - we went to visit two of them and probably wouldn't have done so if it wasn't written in the little guide at the cabin. Keys were easy to find, no problem! Communication with the host was excellent, we also met her a few times and had a quick nice chat. So if you have any questions or requests about your stay, feel free to ask her!

Only thing I can think of is that me and my partner missed a desk or bigger/higher table of some sort inside, both for meals and for working on creative projects in our free time. We stayed in the smaller of the two houses though, so there might be a table like this in the other one.

De locatie was prima. Het grote bed sliep heel erg goed. Lekker geslapen.

Wij vonden het huis nogal druk en chaotisch. Dat kwam voornamelijk doordat er nog heel veel privé spullen in het huisje aanwezig waren. Met veel briefjes werd je daarop gewezen. Verder was er geen normale eettafel met stoelen. De stoelen die er waren zaten niet comfortabel. Omdat de host had aangegeven niet aanwezig te zijn waren door heel het huisje briefjes met instructies en tips opgehangen. Dat vonden wij nogal hinderlijk. Het huisje was ook niet erg schoon. We hebben voor gebruik eerst zelf de keuken schoon gemaakt en in de badkamer de haren uit het doucheputje gehaald.
