Clean comfortable and good location

Over 50 minute to check-in for key lock code. After been travelling all day. Photo id? Payment card id? Required. 21 pages of rental agreement. Why not send when accommodation was booked? Not enough seating in dining area 6 seats only. Downstairs toilet seat loose and not fit for purpose. 2 broken cups and 1 plate cracked not fit for purpose. Downstairs bedroom no heating. No smoke alarm. No fire fire blanket. No fire extinguisher. No fire assembly point. No directions for fire exits. Dirty socks behind bedroom door upstairs. Dodgy cabinet over boiler in bedroom. Not fixed to wall and keeps falling off from wall. Upstairs shower plug blocked. Not enough pressure in water taps. No cleaning products to clean before checkout. No dusters or spray and wipe? Not sure if worth the stress and drama to stay. I felt uncomfortable and rushed in the morning to check out on time or face extra charges. Too many extra charges to actually feel relaxed and comfortable.

Not cleaned meant we have had to move property!

The location of the 2nd property we were moved to was excellent for going for a walk in the morning.

When we arrived at the booked property we found the bins were overflowing with takeaway, the beds had been slept in and the bathroom had wet towels everywhere. Opened minded property were easy to contact and offered a cleaner in about 2 hours or to move property to another large flat 45 minutes drive away... We took the second option and the flat was ok. The toilet seat was broken, the taps moved but the bedrooms were nice and hadn't been slept in. They agreed to pay for 3 cars to be parked having asked us for additional money for 3rd car. The booking procedure was incredibly long winded with documents needing signing driver licence sent and was overly complicated, annoying and then especially to find after jumping through all the hoops that they hadn't sent cleaners in after previous visitors had left a total mess. Overall we lost about 3 hours of our stay in moving property, starting the cleaning ourselves and in WhatsApp communications. I've requested a full refund but this has been ignored so far.

It was ok but not as comfortable as we would have liked.

We all had room to sleep. We had an area to sit together in the morning and evenings.

The toilet doors did not have locks. There was one mirror to share for 11 of us to do hair and make up each morning and no full length mirror for us to use when we were going to an event. The property felt and looked tired. The kitchen was small, clunky, difficult drawers that wouldn’t go back in properly, the oven and hon took a long time. There was no plug to do washing up. There was limited seating for so many of us- 14 (the maximum the house could take) would have been impossible. The beds were not as comfortable as we are used to. The duvets and pillows felt cheap. The location was not great. Nothing nearby to walk to. Small garden and not appropriate to the size of the occupancy of the house.
