Oceanfront 2-Bedroom Condo in Ocean City, MD Perfect for Relaxing Getaways

Linens are NOT included. I have rented properties all over the world and have never encountered a situation where basic sheets and towels were not provided as part of the booking. This was not disclosed on the listing or anywhere during the booking process. 12 hours prior to check in we were informed that we had to either bring our own linens or pay an additional fee. For $800/night I find that unacceptable. I did manage to contact Booking.com customer service and they worked with the host who ultimately agreed to waive the linen charges, but I shouldn’t have had to do that. I was also a bit put off by the extent of chores we had to do upon check out: Fully strip the beds and put all linens in the laundry, do and put away all dishes (can’t be left clean in dish washer) and not only round up the trash but take it all the way out to the dumpster. Again, I’m fine with stripping the beds and rounding up the trash, but considering the amount we paid for the stay which included a service/cleaning fee, I found that egregious. It feels less like a vacation when you have to do all the same housework you do at home. Despite this I would definitely stay at this property again, especially since we were able to share the condo with my parents, but depending on the situation for the price I might consider staying at a hotel instead.
