Le Volte Del Basile - 4 camere private e terrazza

We were a party of 6 (although it should of been 8) of late 50's visiting as a two destination break along with Taormina. We arrived at the apartment which met our expectations of a grand old building that had been renovated to a high standard. All the rooms were exactly like the photos which we were please to find as sometimes they can not give a true representation. Good showers and WiFi which are major requirements for us all. The location was excellent, just a quick walk to all the main sites in Palermo. Would definitely book again if we came to Palermo.

A couple of small issues that may affect other visitors, one being the noise at night (we were there over the weekend), the other being the stairs. This wasn't an issue to us as we're all relatively fit, but would be an issue if you struggled with stairs.

One of the nicest private accomodation I have stayed at - and I do travel a lot. Wit love for detail, exceptionally friendly host, super cleaningness and a very unusual historic setting this accomodation is a jewel. The location is also perfect, just a few steps from Teatro Massimo.

I liked everything, but travers should be aware that the apartment is top floor with a narrow and steep staircase which might be a problem for some travellers.
