Evar Konağı

Centrally located and just a short walk up the stairs from Republic Square and the historic Latifiye Mosque. I would like to thank the staff, who were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. The building has an amazing panoramic rooftop terrace where you can watch the sunrise and sunset over the timeless plains of Mesopotamia. There are also tables and chairs, making it the perfect place to relax with a cup of tea while admiring the stars in the purple evening sky. My comfortable, spotless room (with AC) was set within a beautifully restored historic stone house. The traditional architecture is truly unique and captures the timeless charm of Mardin. I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended—10/10

Although the hotel does not provide breakfast, this was not an issue as there are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby along Mardin's main boulevard. Mardin accommodation can be slightly more expensive compared with other cities in the region, but this is understandable given its unique historic character and tourism. At around €45 per night, I found Evar Konagi to offer good value considering the location, room comfort, traditional stone architecture, rooftop views, and great hospitality.

The lovely terrace and garden. So relaxing to sit and enjoy the views over the Mesopotamian plain. Also staff were very helpful in organising taxis and a tour to Saffron Monastery. Also helpful in organising quick solutions to minor problems.

A list of cafes nearby open for breakfast at 8:00 would have been useful, as property did not provide breakfast.

Konak Tarzındaki bu oteli ben hem görünüm hemde konum itibari ile çok beğendim. Odalar, Teras ve Oturma Bölümleri çok rahat. Otel konum itibari ile de harika bir yerde. Yürüyerek bir çok yere çok rahat ulaşım sağlanabiliniyor. Personel lerin hepsi çok ilgili ve özveriliydi. Muhteşem bir Teras Manzarası eşliğinde günün yorgunluğunu, şehrin güzelliklerini seyrederek, atabiliyorsun.
