Daniela Village House

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Daniela Village House and enjoyed it so much that we have already booked to return next year! Communication with the owner was excellent via WhatsApp. On arrival, the owner met us at the suggested parking spot and walked us the short distance back to the property, which was only around 20–30 metres away. We parked just above the church. We were given a quick explanation of the facilities and then left to enjoy the house. Everything we needed was there, with plenty of wardrobe space, very comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and even a washing machine, which we made use of during our stay. The neighbours were incredibly friendly. One neighbour, who I think was called Vasillis, even gave us a bottle of wine that he had produced himself. We enjoyed it sitting in the little courtyard with some local cheese and olives — a lovely experience! Keri Village is a beautiful place to stay, with several restaurants within walking distance. We also loved Cafe Nitzi, a quirky and welcoming little café with a fantastic collection of unusual items decorating the garden courtyard. The Mizithres Viewpoint and Sunset Bar, with its enormous Greek flag, is also within walking distance at around 1.2 km away. We were staying in Zakynthos for two weeks and normally stay in Kalamaki, but booked two nights in Keri because we wanted to experience the village in the evening without worrying about getting back to our hotel. The two nights went far too quickly. We loved it so much that we've already booked to come back next year! Highly recommended if you want to experience the charm of Keri Village.

There was nothing that we didn't like. Apart from having to leave at the end of our stay. We could have stayed much longer.

It was so cute and homey, Daniela was so lovely and so welcoming. Everything worked perfectly and we 100% recommend for anyone that wants a more quiet authentic place to stay.

Cutest town, great space, clean and comfortable. Had washing machine and all amenities we needed. Host Daniela very helpful and responsive via WhatsApp. Locals in town were the best, great cafe, restaurants and minimart outside the door.
