Amalias House

Great communication from the host. Amalia was there to greet us and show us around (she only speaks Greek, which was fine for us as my wife also speaks Greek). She was very welcoming, provided us a nice drink on arrival and even got us figs one morning. The house is marketed as a one-bedroom property, but actually has two bedrooms

The bedrooms both have air-con, but unfortunately downstairs does not. Not a big issue, especially if no one is sleeping downstairs (we were a group of five, so one of us was on the sofa bed). A fan was provided which helped.

The house is very spacious, spotlessly clean and welcoming. The location is excellent: in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle but at the same time central and convenient for reaching all parts of the island. Mrs. Amalia is a truly exceptional host, always helpful and attentive. During our stay she even surprised us with local gifts (watermelon, fresh eggs and a delicious fig dessert). Here you feel more like a guest than a tourist, welcomed with warmth and care. An ideal place for those who want to experience the authentic atmosphere of Corfu in total comfort. Highly recommended!

Amalia es una anfitriona impresionante, nos recibió con un vinito, fruta y chupitos de bienvenida. Nos dieron recomendaciones fantásticas para la isla. Fue una mujer super dulce, realmente nos enterneció, era como estar en casa de la abuelita. Mágica ella. Incluso un día nos invitó a comer ... ¡Volveremos en otra ocasión! Nos vamos repletos de amor de esta casa. Mil gracias por todo, Amalia.
