This home is a peaceful mountain retreat with stunning views of the Grandfather mountain and Sugar Mountain, while being just three minutes from downtown Banner Elk. The town itself is a charming, a destination with wonderful dining, boutique shopping, and regular local entertainment.
Centrally located, the property offers easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, alpine coaster, wineries, gem mines, mountain biking trails, skiing, rafting, fishing, ice skating, tubing, and nearby playgrounds. Nestled at the base of Beech Mountain, the house is only 15 minutes from both Beech and Sugar Mountain slopes.
Guests will enjoy a tranquil setting with plenty of space to relax, along with regular visits from white-tailed deer, turkeys, and rabbits. The home is easy to access year-round, with a convenient drive-through driveway, ample parking, and city-maintained roads that do not require four-wheel drive. The main level is accessible without stairs, making it ideal for guests with mobility needs and for easier move-in during the winter months.
For entertainment, a game room features ping pong, billiards, and a classic Pac-Man arcade—perfect for rainy days. The home also includes air conditioning and WiFi for added comfort.
