Charming Elevated House in The Dunes

A wonderful rental property in The Dunes community on Sanibel. Very convenient to shopping and the beach (both about a mile and a half away). Easy check-in and the house was spotless upon arrival. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms make for a comfortable stay. The pool in the backyard was a delight. Great for hanging out or taking a dip after a day at the beach. If you plan on spending an extended time on Sanibel (we were there for 28 days) and are an avid beach goer, then consider purchasing a non-resident beach parking sticker. It’s pricey at 300 but parking at the public beaches is 5/hr. And the sticker allows you to park at the specified resident beaches. Stickers can be purchased at the Recreation Center.Biking is the way to go on Sanibel. There are bike paths throughout the island. Billy’s is a great place to rent bikes. E-bikes are fun!We highly recommend this VRBO rental and the owners are great.

This home is a hidden gem. It is located very close to the causeway so it is easy on and easy off. It is a short bike ride away from Algiers beach. The house is a gorgeous two story home with a balcony off the master bedroom. The bathrooms are renovated and the kitchen is beautiful. The backyard is fenced in and was great for our dog. We were able to grill and eat outside in the two spaces that are there. The Dunes is a great family friendly neighborhood to walk the dog and meet so many nice people. Don't miss out on this beautiful home!
