Lake Cobbosseecontee is 11 miles long, over 5000 acres, and is known for large and small mouth bass fishing.
This home can comfortably accommodate a large family or group of friends. The main bedroom has a king bed as well as a futon. The 2nd bedroom has a trundle bunk with a full and 2 twin beds. The living room has a sofa bed. There are plenty of spaces to store your belongings.
Day trips to the coast are less than an hour away. There are many hiking options; hop on the Kennebeck River Trail, ascend Mount Pigsah, or stroll through the quaint town of Hallowell. Very clean with lake views out every window, great quaint spot to eat on the upper balcony like a private Venice veranda looking out on the lake. Next great location to eat & talk was down one tier at the round outside dinner table you guessed it looking out over the lake. One of our favorite spots was down a few more stairs onto the awesome deck 5 feet from the waters edge with a propane fire pit, super comfy cushions. While I'm describing the great out doors setup, the deep water boat dock with stairs into the water is excellent we brought our ski boat with our bumpers and it was spectacular. Back to the inside the owners have thought of everything and I mean everything, any and all utensils and amenities you possibly think of or need. With neat labels on cabinets etc to help find things as well as great instructions. All grilling accessories were there. Washer & dryer came in handy for our beach towels especially. This lakeside retreat is outstanding in every way. Oh I should also mention the lake.. WOW it is absolutely amazing and offers everything you could want, one of the few with a marina that has gas, ice, food snacks and a restaurant that you can go to by boat which is yet another great adventure. Don't miss horseshoe cove, the rope swing or the sand-bar. This cottage on this lake in my opinion is second to none, as a reference to support that opinion I've been boating and watersking for 50 plus years and ownered my lakehouse & cottages. This combination is "Perfectly Spectacular "

The house was immaculate and perfect for our family of six. Great lakefront location with a dock, kayaks, and a paddle board. Well stocked kitchen utensils and grill area. The lot is very steep, so a bit challenging to access without an AWD vehicle and requires walking many stairs.
