Step into the heart of San Antonio's rich history with a stay in our beautifully restored 5-bedroom 3-bathroom home, nestled in the iconic King William District. This historic gem offers modern comforts while retaining its timeless character, perfect for families or groups looking to experience the charm of one of the city’s most celebrated neighborhoods. Our home is walkable to some of the best restaurants, bars and shops San Antonio has to offer and just minutes from the famous Riverwalk!
THE SPACE:
This spacious home features five elegantly appointed bedrooms and three bathrooms across three levels, offering plenty of room for relaxation and rest. With original architectural details such as tall ceilings, hardwood floors, and ornate moldings, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time while enjoying all the conveniences of modern living. The open-concept living areas invite you to gather with loved ones or enjoy quiet moments in a cozy corner. Our fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, wine fridge, and a Keurig coffee maker provides everything you need to cook a delicious meal. The driveway can fit up to 4 vehicles.
On the 1st Floor you'll find:

- Kitchen w/ Breakfast Nook
- 1 Bedroom w/ King Bed & 1 Full Bathroom
- 1 Bar area
On the 2nd Floor you'll find:
- 2 Bedrooms w/ King Beds
- 1 Bedroom w/ 2 Double Beds
- 2 Full Bathrooms
- Laundry room
- Office/Reading Room
- 2nd Floor Balcony
On the 3rd Floor you'll find:
- 2 Double Beds
- 2nd small living room w/ TV
HOUSE MANUAL:
- We are NOT a pet-friendly property and do charge an additional $350 cleaning fee for undisclosed pets. However, we do accept service animals and are happy to accommodate as long as we are notified prior to the stay that you will be bringing your service animal and are able to verify the pet as a service animal as allowed by VRBO.
- Parking is available in the driveway to the left of the home and city street parking is available in front of the home.
- As you'll notice when you arrive, our home is historic and we have tried our best to keep much of the vintage charm and original fixings that the property was built with. You may notice some imperfections, if anything is directly effecting your stay please reach out to us via the app as soon as possible and we will do our best to get the issue resolved.
- If there are any minor or major fixes that need to be made please do not attempt to fix them yourself. We will send someone out to make the repair if needed.
- Please do not set AC below 74 degrees. As previously mentioned, the home is old and does take a moment too cool down. If you attempt to drop the temperature below 74 it could freeze our unit.
-If staying on the 3rd floor room, the unit located in the window is the main source of AC for that floor and should be used to cool the space down. Please do not set the 3rd floor AC unit below 70.
- Please do not touch or attempt to use the security alarm system.
- Many of the furniture pieces throughout the home are antiques, please do not set any drinks down on the wood pieces without a coaster. Coasters can be found in the formal living room.
-Please do not take inside furniture outdoors.
- Exterior cameras are located on the front porch, side of the house, and back area for security purposes. There are no cameras located inside the house.
- Any children under 12 must be accompanied on the 2nd floor balcony for safety purposes.
- We do not allow parties or events of any kind at our property.
- Maximum of (14) guests on property.

This house is beautiful and in a great location for the riverwalk! It was close enough that we could walk or take a quick uber to the riverwalk. We stayed for a our girls trip so there were 9 women and this was plenty of room! The house is historic and is decorated beautifully like all historic homes its hard to cool down,we came when the temps were in low 80s and we felt a little warm but not uncomfortable nothing a portable fan cant fix!. Parking was great and we had our own driveway so we didnt have to worry about parking on street and fighting for parking spots. Im gonna book this house again later this year for a different group because im impressed with this house!

Host was very communicative and responsive. The house is a beauty in a wonderful historic neighborhood. Walking distance (10-15 minutes) to everything we wanted to do (Riverwalk, Alamo, Hemisfair, etc.). Great restaurants and coffee shop one block away! Know that to enjoy a historic home you need to factor in stairs, smaller bathroom counter space, etc. This home has a ton of windows creating a light-filled atmosphere which was wonderful during the day (but a little too much street light at night). There is a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor so if you’re traveling with someone elderly or with mobility challenges, this is great. All the bedrooms were very, very large. There’s a huge dining room plus a breakfast nook in the kitchen, which is well-equipped with modern appliances. Near to grocery store. The only thing that bothered me was that none of the windows in the home would open (painted shut, not uncommon in old homes). The weather was so nice on the second day of our trip, it would have been nice to open a few windows rather than use the AC. And not sure if it’s a safety issue that windows cannot be opened in bedrooms in case of fire? It’s a grand old house on a very large lot so despite being so near to many things, it was pretty quiet. Small park across the street too.
