On the outskirts, 3 km from the centre of Straiton, in a quiet position, 24 km from the sea, 24 km from the beach. Private: garden (not fenced) with lawn and trees. Garden furniture, parking at the house. Shop 3 km, grocery 3 km, restaurant 3 km, bar 3 km, café 3 km, bus stop 3 km, sandy beach "Maidens Beach" 23 km. Golf course (9 hole) 15 km. If you are looking for a trip with friends and family with peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings, this is a perfect spot. It’s a way into town, but there are walks galore, a river, a couple of playgrounds (one that all the adults had a go on - and largely failed!). There are a whole group of beautiful cottages, so you can book one or more according to party size. Never stayed anywhere so well appointed - so many plates and glasses we could have hosted a royal banquet! The beds were comfy, linens beautiful and lots of space. Owners are friendly but completely unobtrusive. We were really surprised at how lovely this was.
