Welcome to our cozy A-frame cabin with panoramic Hood Canal views. Perfect for romantic getaways, outdoor adventures, or solo retreats, this thoughtfully crafted cabin is your gateway to the PNW's wonders, all within a 15 minute drive. Hike in Olympic NP, hunt in Olympic National Forest, or fish in the Hood Canal and nearby rivers. Enjoy local delights like Hama Hama oysters. Spot our resident elk herd and birds of prey.

At Camp Duckabush, comfort and rustic charm blend seamlessly. The tranquil loft bedroom is a cozy retreat with a comfortable bed, soft hypoallergenic linens, reading nook, and a private balcony offering peaceful views. Please note, the ladder to the loft is steep.
The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with a propane oven/stove, fridge, freezer, and everything else you could need, making meal preparation a breeze. Featuring dreamy locally roasted Catkin Coffee and a variety of teas. The cabin includes a 3/4 bathroom with modern amenities.
For those working remotely or catching up on emails, the dedicated workspace includes high-speed fiber optic internet, desk, lamp and an ergonomic chair.
The dining area is perfect for meals and game nights, featuring a bistro table surrounded by windows and a selection of games and activities. There is even a spotting scope to help you enjoy all the wildlife that can be seen across the hood canal. In the living room, unwind on the big comfy couch with provided blankets, enjoy the cozy propane heater, or catch up on your favorite shows with available fireTV streaming services.
Outdoors:
The big highlight is the exterior of the cabin. Delight in the private, serene yard with expansive Hood Canal views. Relax in the hammock or gather around the fire pit. Firewood provided. The propane BBQ is perfect for outdoor cooking, and the picnic table with an umbrella provides a great spot for al fresco dining. There’s also a game/catch cleaning station for your convenience. Boat/Trailer parking available on the property (approx 55 ft x 18 ft), just make sure to let your hosts know. With its tranquil setting and stunning views, this property is a perfect retreat for relaxation and entertainment.

Oh wow! Such an adorable little cabin! We came to have a little getaway to celebrate our 9th anniversary. The cabin was immaculately clean, very cozy, relaxing decor and had everything we could want and then some! Thank you for the anniversary card! The bedroom was big, beautiful, airy and the bed was soft, but with plenty of support for my bad back. LOVED the bedroom balcony with table/chairs. GREAT view of the Canal. Fans and air conditioner and BBQ and firepit were fabulous! LOVED all the big windows. We woke up each morning to the song of Redwing Blackbirds! Also heard and saw a Bald Eagle the first day. Chickadees, Cedar Waxwings, Flickers. Great spot for birdwatching. Loved the little kitchen, we put the BBQ, toaster, coffee pot and tea pot to good use. So conveniently close to the hiking trailheads in the area. We did 3 "smaller" day hikes while we were staying for a total of about 10 miles and didn't even scratch the surface of all the hiking possibilities. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!! Super highly recommended!

Cabin is extremely well stocked with every cooking necessity, firewood, blankets, yoga mats: you name it, they have it. Really relaxing ambience, great proximity to tons of hikes and beaches, and awesome experience overall. Would highly recommend.

Exactly as described. Everything one could need and wonderful furnishings. We had been E biking for a week on the Olympic Discovery Trail as well as in Victoria BC so this was a relaxing ending to our vacation. Great property to sit outside overlooking the bay and just read. We hiked to a waterfall and had a wonderful meal at Hama Hama Oyster Farm. Will definitely come back to this area to explore more. We are 74 years old and had no problem climbing the stairs to the loft bedroom. ( don’t try if you have any physical limitations or under the influence) We loved the uniqueness of this cabin. Very fun!
