Aatman Resort gave us an exceptional, peaceful, and nature-centric experience. We were so impressed with the atmosphere, the ambience, rooms, service, food and the location that we extended our stay and let go of our paid Somnath booking. Each and every aspect of the place was worth its value. Aatman offered outstanding hospitality. It is a family run resort with owner’s direct involvement ensuring guests have all that they need. The staff were polite, helpful and very attentive, especially Hardik. We were enquired often about the stay without being intrusive. And our requests were well attended to promptly and happily. The resort is in a prime location of Bhojde village on the periphery of Gir National Park. The winding village mud road towards the resort can be a bit bumpy, but it is what the experience of nature is all about including the safaris. And we were extremely lucky to find timely help in getting the safaris booked and spotting three lionesses and three cubs. The atmosphere of the resort, covered with mango trees provide shade, cool breeze in a wonderful setting of charpais and cushiony relaxing chairs. One would feel like languishing there, even take an afternoon siesta in the peaceful surrounding. The rooms are very spacious, clean, well-maintained and thoughtfully designed to blend with the natural surroundings. A couple of improvements are needed such as a luggage rack and a cupboard space. But the size of the room/bathroom didn’t make us realise the clutter on the floor. The food was very delicious and fresh, cooked right there with a great mix of local authentic Gujarati dishes and other options providing home-cooked flavour. We highly recommend it for its outstanding, warm hospitality, and delicious, authentic home-cooked meals to those seeking a tranquil and comfortable stay near Gir National Park.

Hardhik and Owner were very good host. Food had authentic taste of Gujarat. Resort has abundant Mango trees and very close to jungle boundary. Safety and Hygiene was very well taken care off..
