Self check-in was straightforward, and the digital lock was very convenient—especially for heading to the beach without carrying keys. The apartment is in a calm area, close to the beach and within easy reach of shops and other services. The kitchen is well equipped, and the space is comfortable for Rio’s heat, with a ceiling fan and an additional fan. The bedroom bed is comfortable, and the AC works well. Everything was clean and easy to use.

Customer support was polite, but it’s handled by an agency rather than a single host, which made communication frustrating. Each time I reached out I spoke with a different person, responses were sometimes slow, and I often received automated messages in Portuguese that I had to translate. The apartment also feels overpriced for its size. I initially assumed the rate was only high because of New Year’s, but it seems to be priced this way year-round. Check-in and guest instructions felt rigid. Information was split across multiple links (passport details vs. instructions), and when another guest tried to communicate during check-in, support refused and insisted only the main guest (me) could be in contact—so I had to coordinate everything. I also would have appreciated more consideration around passport sharing and privacy. We were two friends (both men) and preferred not to share the bedroom, but that wasn’t really accommodated. In terms of comfort: the bedroom AC blows directly toward the bed, which made me worry about getting sick, so I slept on the sofa. There were no clear instructions for using the sofa bed, and when I asked, I was told it should only be used for a third person and that I needed to pay extra for bedding. I didn’t realize the sofa needed to be flipped/extended, so I paid thinking I’d receive a separate mattress. As a result, I spent two nights sleeping on the sofa without extending it, which was uncomfortable. Once I figured it out, it was still not as comfortable as expected. The paid bedding arrived quite late (only a few nights before checkout), so I barely used it. Paying for it was also unnecessarily stressful due to a separate payment link that didn’t work and the need to contact multiple support agents to resolve it.

Praticidade, encontrei tudo que precisava, muito completa e super aconchegante, pessoalmente ainda mais linda
