Surfers Paradise Skyline 3BR Free CP Ocean View Apartment

Loved the view of the beach. The place was lovely and clean and had everything we needed to cook. There was only 2 of us though. Unfortunately the outside pool area was closed, but the pool/gym and sauna was lovely on floor 33. The beds are lovely and the showers were powerful. You have 1 parking space in the basement which was great, plus it was walking distance to all restaurants and beach in surfers paradise. The balcony is all enclosed which is great for windy days. Would stay here again

Check in and out process was very difficult and stressful. The contact number in the email did not answer. After multiple email attempts to get someone’s attention that we were given the wrong code to access the key, I had to call booking.com. This resulted in them canceling my booking after clearly saying not to cancel. The fob also didn’t work to get out of the car park and minimal to no street parking to pick up or drop off the key. Shower drain was blocked in main bathroom, this should have been picked up by the cleaners many stays before ours but it was rectified quickly. No wash cloths were supplied. Communication was polite and prompt but frustrating to not be able to check in immediately after a 2/12hr drive and then to have to muck around the next day to arrange for another accommodation payment, plus $300 security deposit for a second key. Perhaps the security fee could have been waived or late check out offered for the stuff around? The property itself was nice, cleaned and well supplied for a longer stay.
