We liked the interior and exterior of the house. We liked that it was complete with all necessary materials.

What we didn’t like about our stay was that the owner failed to inform us about the ongoing power shortage on the island. We stayed for 4 days, and most of the time there was a blackout. What’s even more frustrating is that whenever the power was out, there was no water either. We also felt unsafe because of the surrounding houses in the area. There was no security at all, and the place is quite far from the center of Siquijor. While it’s close to the port and airport, the lack of security was very concerning. Upon arrival, the place was dirty, from the balcony to the bathrooms. It had not been cleaned, and we were the ones who had to clean it ourselves from day one.
