Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und das Bett sehr bequem und komfortabel, das Zimmer groß und geräumig und das Badezimmer modern eingerichtet. Der Gastgeber und seine Familie sind freundlich und herzlich, die Kommunikation funktioniert einwandfrei, man kann sich jederzeit an ihn wenden bei Fragen. Man wird bestens versorgt, es wird frisch gekocht mit typischen, regionalen Gerichten und es wird sehr viel wert darauf gelegt, dass man sich rund um wohl fühlt!

Host provided a free airport pickup. Due to an issue with my visa, I was significantly delayed, yet the host waited patiently for me at the airport; I was truly touched by this. Everday, they gave me a free breakfast, even though it wasn't included in the room rate.

Conveniently located close to the airport, this home stay is great value for money. The hosts are incredibly hospitable and helpful. They picked me up from the airport and also organised a taxi service for my next destination. Always willing to help and super lovely. Recommended!

Book this place now - you won’t find better hosts. Arriving in a new country during a cyclone with the heaviest rainfall in a century should’ve been stressful, but staying here made all the difference. The host and his family were incredibly caring and generous. Even when we were stranded by the flooding, they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We had delicious home cooked meals, and the host, who also runs a transport business, spent hours trying to find a safe route through the floodwaters to get us to our next destination. They genuinely couldn’t have done more for us and it's a experience we will never forget. The room was clean, comfortable, and lived up to it's name as heavens corner - stay here if you want to experience the best Sri Lanka hospitality.
