Chalet de l'Abondance

I went with my daughter and dog. Perfect for a " get away from it all " break. The chalet is enchanting - I didn’t want to leave! 😀 However, the chalet is advertised as 1 bedroom but there is in fact no bedroom as such.There is a mezzanine and you have to access by a ladder so not suitable for everyone! There is also a pull out sofa in the salon. The host Jean Jaque was very pleasant and recommended a lovely restaurant .. with an amazing view - so we got to see a stunning sunset whilst eating.. it is a bit tricky to get there, lots of winding roads but keep going … it is worth it!!! We also rose at 6.45 to see the magnificent sunrise !!

It is close proximity to a busy road which is pretty noisy - it was a shame because I understood from the booking that it was super peaceful - I like to sit on the terrace and read .. with no noise. Also I would have liked to go for little walks with my dog ( not having go into the woods alone ) but the road was too dangerous, they go pretty fast.. even when they see people walking but that does not take away from how lovely it was in general !

Le seul bémol c est l échelle pour monter a la chambre

IL nous a fallu appeler les propriétaires car le code mis par booking n'était pas le bon. mais ils ont été très réactif. Il ne manquait pas grand chose (des dosettes de chocolat pour le déjeuner des enfants)

les abords n'étaient pas tondus (peut être à cause de la sécheresse.)

Nous avons apprécié que notre hôte soit passé nous saluer peu après notre arrivée et à notre départ.
