Basic but very pleasant accomodation in Medan at a very good location. Its close to shops, restaurants, the big mall and also walkable to some attractions of the city. The owner is very helpful and very pleasant to talk to. He organised very sufficiently my transportation to the airport but he also arranges excursions to other parts of the island. The common toilets and shower were cleaned regularly and room was also clean! Only thing, would have been nice to have a window in the room but I understand it's difficult considering the setting of the building. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Thank you for everything!

The location is good, and the whatsapp welcome messages contain quite some useful information.
Even considering you are staying in central Medan for that price, the state of the bathrooms and general cleanliness are really bad; by far the worst overall standard we had in 4 weeks on Sumatra. I really do not understand why the ratings are so good, except that the owner asks you explicitly to leave good reviews.
