Beautiful area and close to family. Well accommodated unit. Beds were comfortable. I would stay there again.
Pre-stay communication was frustrating. The rental company (SoLiving) would send email about required forms/documents that MUST be provided before stay. But all the links to said forms had been redacted. I contacted them and they resent the forms…only for the links to again be redacted. Repeat, repeat, …
It was apparently an issue with their automated system because once I convinced them to send it me me directly, it worked.
My only other complaint was that you had to pay for a screening service before booking was finalized, which was an additional fee (only $10, I think, but I don’t believe it was disclosed in the listing).

The neighborhood was probably one of the prettiest I've ever been in since we moved to Florida 6 years ago. Very serene and so well kept. The neighbors were all super friendly and always out and about. At any given time, you would find someone going on a run or walking their dog, out with their kids riding bikes and hanging out at the pool. I have two younger girls, 8 and 12, and I was instantly comfortable enough to let them go out and explore on their own a little bit with our dogs.
The apartment itself was VERY clean, cleanest rental I've ever stayed in. I always have things to clean with me, and outside of spraying my Lysol on all the surfaces (because better safe than sorry), I didn't feel my usual need to clean bathrooms and vacuum carpets. There was a vacuum and broom available for light upkeep while you stayed. We were there for 4 days/3 nights with 2 kids and 2 dogs, so we cleaned up as we went. They layout of the apartment is really efficient for only 1300 square feet. There were 2 great-sized bedrooms and 2 very accommodating bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, living room, laundry room and the closets were all a great size. The beds were SO comfortable and I know this is silly, but those were some of the best bath towels we've ever used. We checked the tags and ordered some from Amazon before we even left.
There were great qualities in the small details, too. There was a small workspace in the kitchen which was great. We checked in on Thursday night, and I still had to work on Friday (I work remote) and was fully able to do that with the fast internet and the set up for my workspace.
You could tell it was an older apartment. The appliances were meh, but the dishwasher was pretty terrible. One like from the 90's where you have to slide the lock across and crank a dial for it to start. Not to mention, it holds about 15 dishes before it's full. The application of wallpaper over the textured walls is a bit cheesy. It would have looked a heck of a lot better if the texture was stripped before they slapped the wallpaper on.
All of the decor, dishes, pots, pans, literally everything was purchased very cheaply, which in this economy I do understand. But if you're going to use Ikea dishes/glasses and Walmart brand decorations around your "luxury" apartment, don't forget to remove the tags from the discount stores because it just gave it a really cheap feeling, and that's not how you want to feel when spending money for a weekend away.
There was no TV in the living room, which I liked and disliked, but mostly disliked. I liked the idea of we shouldn't be sitting around rotting in front of a TV when we're on vacation. But also, I went away this weekend with the intention of just taking it easy. Life is chaotic and I hardly get to sit still and just relax with my family. I was looking forward to that this weekend, and the living room fell far below my expectations. The couch and chair, which efficient because they both were places to sleep if needed, were the most uncomfortable pieces of furniture I've ever sat on. Also, there wasn't any kind of television in the main living space. There were HUGE TVs in the bedrooms, which is great, but we wanted to watch a movie as a family one night, and only could do that in one of the beds. Maybe just buy 3 affordable TVs so there's one in each room and that would have made more sense.
