    Very nice hotel, only a couple of years old with modern bedrooms and facilities. The staff are really nice and very helpful. Many restaurants and shops are a walkable distance away. The famous Alona beach is about 15 min walk, airport about 15 min ride away. Recommended, would stay again.

    While the hotel is a bit far from Alona Beach, it’s still easily accessible by walking or tricycle. This actually turned out to be an advantage, as the area is peaceful and quiet. The property is small, so there are only a few guests—most of the time, we had the pool to ourselves. Amenities are fairly basic, and the food options could be improved. That said, it was my partner’s birthday, and the staff were incredibly thoughtful—they provided a cake and even offered to decorate the room. We truly appreciated the gesture.

    This review might be viewed as unfair because first off, I never stayed in this hotel, reason being I canceled my booking and they refused to honor it. There was a discrepancy in the booking process but it’s too long to enumerate so I will spare you on the details . So to cut the story short, I paid a room worth 3 days stay for nothing. Just to satisfy my curiosity, I went to check out the place. The lobby was modern and clean but no signs of plants or trees or shades in the backyard or pool area and it felt sterile and cold and blah! The location was noisy . I lost money on this failed booking but didn’t regret my decision to stay somewhere else because the other place was the total opposite of Lotus . The other hotel had trees/ plants/ grass… and was just perfect ! Sorry but not sorry.
