Das Haus war groß, hatte einen zwar ungepflegten, aber eingezäunten Garten für einen Hund. Die Lage am Siel ist idyllisch und die Nähe zum Supermarkt ist angenehm.
Das Sonnenrollo-System bis hin zu defekten Außenjalousien war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Besonders störend waren die Toiletten, die in unterschiedlichen Höhen montiert waren, allesamt zu hoch für Körpergröße 1,68 cm. Es gab noch einige Schwachpunkte, die man in einem äußerlich so modernem Haus nicht erwartet hätte.
