There are many good things about this place, at least in principle. It is well designed, the view of Lipno and the reservoir is amazing, the apartment is large, the kitchen is well-equipped, the bedroom is a good size and the living room space is large, with a lovely balcony. If it wasn't for the negative things below, we would have really enjoyed it, and if the negatives don't bother you, then I'd recommend it. The walk down to Lipno is pleasant and only just over a kilometre (the last 300 metres or so are very steep uphill).

Two things were particularly bad. The first is that essentially the house is in the middle of a building site. There is not yet a paved road and houses are being built around. This was clearly not made obvious in the advertising (for rather understandable reasons), but the person who gave us the key was not even minimally apologetic. On at least one morning heavy machinery started being used around 7 in the morning. It is true that there is a great view of Lipno and the reservoir, but the immediate view in front of the house is a building site. The other thing is that the wifi is pretty well non-existent, especially in the evening. There was a nice television, but it was pretty well unusable, and most of the time the speed was less than via telephone twenty years ago.
