Beddgelert Cabins, Snowdonia - Forest Holidays

The lodge and hoist, location. Shame trees are being cut down. Lodge its self was nice, step is broken and gate on other side needs some work. Our kettle was a bit temperamental. Staff were nice. No actual cafe there, tea and coffee with some cakes. Stools too high for my mum. Shop small. Need gluten free options.

The sofas were not that comfortable. Not used to the deep seat style.

Le chalet spacieux, en pleine nature, était très agréable, bien équipé, petit plus jacuzzi apprécié après de longues balades au milieu de cette belle nature galloise très préservée… Les chalets ne sont pas trop près les uns des autres, meilleure intimité.

Selon nous, les tableaux pourraient être remplacés par de belles photos de Beddgelert…

Birds visit on the decking, the hot tub was checked daily, it’s spotlessly clean and well-equipped (the bathroom, decking and log burner were my favourites), the site is beautifully managed with friendly and helpful staff, the placement of the site is also so peaceful, with hundreds or thousands of stars visible on clear nights and a safe, walkable route into Beddgelert where there are lovely walks and pubs. We were in the hideaway which was the perfect choice for our anniversary getaway. There were points where I felt incredibly lucky to experience such a holiday.

If I had to choose something, a bigger bed would’ve been nice, solely because we have a larger one at home that we’re used to.
