The location

No WiFi and despite many messages to the owners .. remained unfixed

Lovely location in the Marina, had views over inland water and cliffs, adequately equipped, clean towels. Three bedrooms. As clean as it was possible to be when things are getting a little old.

It’s a little tired now, stained (though well vacuumed) rug in living room, cracked tile and sink in downstairs bathroom, very soft mattress on single beds. No warning that garage was very narrow. No small sharp knife, or chopping board, felt like the expectation was you’d eat out. No hand towels for bathroom. But most of all it was too hot upstairs and there was no information on how to turn heat down and everything we tried didn’t work. Thermostats on upstairs radiators didn’t seem to work, nor did either of the other thermostats, nobody responded to my question about it.

The marina is a nice walk along the beach from Brighton, it has nice cafes for breakfast & a supermarket close by. The apartment was great value, worked great for our group & it was a treat sitting in the living area watching the boats. The facilities & room layout are practical, attached garage is extremely convenient & the flat is tastefully decorated.

Responses to enquiries seemed to be generic & usually not answer the question without some perseverance.
