Villa Vani

Very well located for good places to eat, very warm and professional staff, quiet and peaceful rooms and library, great coffee and breakfast, lovely garden.

Our request for an early breakfast was catered to , Good selection of fruit . The poori sabzi was perfect without being oily .Coffee was great . Full marks for room, bed , mattress , pillows . The AC and fan were perfectly placed generating the coolness required . Thanks to a storm the AC did cut off and was restored only when the power came back on . The shared pantry served the purpose. The bathroom was well equipped but I would suggest a rubber mat as the floor was too smooth, The outdoor dining area was great with a clear glass roof .The library had a very good and wide selection of books .

The pricing was nearly on par with some of the top hotels . For a shared space property - a bit on the high side

If I could have given Villa Vani more than 10 stars I would and the reasons are: Location In a quiet area so not noisy at night and a beautiful calm environment but there were still places to eat and shop nearby. The Villa The decor was beautiful, tasteful and elegant, you could tell a lot of thought had gone in to the decoration and all the homeware. Rooms were decorated tastefully, all unique. We were in the Green Room and it was immaculate, not a scuff or a mark and very clean, not a speck of dust insight. Soft furnishings were high quality and comfortable. Crisp cotton linens. The shared areas were also well decorated, comfortable and inviting and definitely somewhere calming and relaxing to unwind after a busy day sightseeing. Staff Shrusti the guest manager was wonderful. She was really helpful both ahead and during our stay nothing was too much trouble. She was always available but discreet a great ambassador for Villa Vani. Nikki, the owner greeted us when we arrived and was interested and interesting, it was clear how passionate she was about the Villa and the experience of all her guests. I was sick when we arrived and she went above and beyond to help me. She organised for her chef to come back that evening to make me a simple supper to help with my sensitive stomach and organised a butter milk drink to help my digestion. She also took me to a few boutiques to buy gifts. Nothing was too much trouble, she truly went above and beyond. She has struck gold with Villa Vani and I for certain will return and will be recommending to all my friends and colleagues.

Lovely small villa, boutique hotel with 4 rooms. Really nicely appointed and very comfortable. Delicious breakfast and attentive team for all needs. Location was in a quiet residential area of lovely Mysore. Easy to walk out for dinner along quiet streets.
