The proprietors left as much of the natural state of things in place while maintaining the grounds for nature walks close to camp. The grounds were kept very clean. I liked the mowed walking trails down to the small river. There was an interesting stone structure once used for channeling the water for some use between the still pond and the river, if you like to take in history and use care and caution, of course, while you check it out. The ducks, geese, frogs and insects making the nature sounds created the most refreshing symphony for the senses.
The cabins themselves were perfect modern accommodations. Everything is useful and well placed. There were many units with different spacing between them. The options to keep to yourselves or to gather a group and get two or three cabins in a closer area are there if you plan ahead and reserve them. The staff was very attentive and engaged in their duties with smiles and pleasant personalities.
Two very minor things. The top stair tread at the unit door could be a double width. It can be tricky to get a plate and cup from kitchen to picnic table on the narrow single tread. Some folks might want to step out a bit further from the door there. There could be a small pocket strap in the otherwise perfect bathroom for a few things. Maybe very tastefully done, hung down either side of the narrow stationary glass piece of the glass shower door. Four guest could share wet and dry side storage in there. It would discourage using the toilet reservoir lid, where things could get knocked in and cause trouble.

This is so peaceful. I would recommend this to anyone.
I wish they would separate where you stay. There were a lot of cabins that didn’t have people staying in them and it would have been more private if they would have spaced us out, but with that said this is still a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.
