Now that HCMC has banned Airbnb in apartment buildings, the best short term accomodations are homestay in a villa.
Huge villa, 6 bedrooms, indoor pool, small garden, rooftop terrace.
Yes, you have to share the big house with other random tourists. Nevertheless, living in a villa rocks. Way way better than living in an equivalently priced hotel.
I prefer the room on the top floor, but there's no elevator. Oh well, I get some exercise.

Location and the bedroom were nice
Too many mosquitoes in the room! I spent all night killing them or hearing them buzz on my ears

Lovely spot. Cute and comfortable with a mini pool. Easy to check in and out. Simple. Lots of lovely places nearby in Thao Dien - a super cool part of HCMC!
