Old family house extended, 3 large bedrooms, two with double bed and one with 4 single beds. The charm of the old (thick stone walls = freshness, exposed beams, very large fireplace and high ceilings) combined with the efficiency of the modern, in a green setting surrounded by an oak wood.
The accommodation
Originally it was an agricultural building, in the middle of a field of brambles and nettles, which we inherited in 1985 from our grandfather: its farmer, who died in 1980, had installed there: cider cellar in the basement, jars and preserves on the first floor, wheat harvest on the first floor, mounted with a grain screw through a hole in the wall!, in the potato attic, and in the framework lived a barn owl, which flew at night frightening us with its so human rattle.
House rehabilitated in 2003 by an architect with an extension including the amenities: equipped kitchen, two toilets, bathroom, ventilation room, laundry cellar, etc.
