Naponach is a fantastic enclave just outside of Ellenville with close access to shopping and restaurants. The house was clean and stylish, and located in a very quiet rural area. There were numerous amenities and a lot of attention to detail which was greatly appreciated. The only negatives was the lack of a microwave in the kitchen, and the washer/dryer were not in-unit but located next door in the owners suite. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a great time at the red cabin. The house is tucked away on a quiet gravel path, surrounded by trees, a former lake (drained) at the rear, with terrific views in fall. Two bedrooms are perfectly placed on either side of a living-area and kitchen, and it has a single bathroom. Fast WiFi, good heating/cooling, a small kitchen that is nicely furnished with cooking equipment and utensils. Clearly a lot of care and thought has gone into making this house welcoming to guests (binoculars on a tree stump in the backyard). Although it was rainy fall weather during our stay, one could see this would also be a great place to visit in summer as it has plenty of outdoor seating and grilling equipment. There is awesome hiking, groceries, farmsteads all within half an hour drive. Communication with the host was timely and friendly, and we would love to return.

The cabin is absolutely incredible. Nestled in the woods, but not too far away from other people. It overlooks what was once a lake, but has since drained. At night, it’s a sea of fireflies. During the day, you have gorgeous views of the mountains. There is plenty to do in the area, especially hiking. Kate was an incredible host. She provided everything we needed, from shampoo, to charcoal, to kindling for the fire. Check in was seamless. The air conditioning in the cabin is great, and the bed is a sleep number! Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’d need. It really does feel like a home. Couldn’t recommend it more!
