Mountain Escape

At an elevation of 2400ft this spacious property, located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, boasts stunning views of Mount Pisgah and multiple mountain ranges. It is equipped with a heated pool from May through September and a pool table and gas fire place for indoor fun during the cold months. Twenty minutes to downtown Asheville's many award winning restaurants and breweries there is also hiking, biking, rivers, waterfalls, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Biltmore House near by.
The space
This is a large, well appointed walk out basement apartment with a wall of windows and doors that open to the outside patio and pool area. The upper deck areas and yard may occasionally be shared with hosts/family and the pool will need occasional maintenance.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole basement apartment, the covered patio area and pool area. Also, the spiral staircase takes you to an upper shared deck area for more stunning mountain and valley views with a designated corner guest area. There is no barrier between the pool and the rest of the BnB area which is why we do not allow guests under 18 years old.
Other things to note
The pool should be available for swimming May through September. There will be times before and after this when the cover is removed but it is not yet ready or waiting to be closed. Swimming will not be available at those times.
Also, as stated, we live upstairs and our wood floors creak a little so you may hear a slight amount of noise from time to time but it shouldn’t be excessive.
