CUTE STUDIO with PRIVATE BALCONY! And SPECTACULAR OCEAN -A1A- HARDROCK -VIEWS!!!

It was fine.

This condo had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen to cook all of our meals. Beach chairs, towels, sunscreen, and a cooler for the beach/pool were very nice to have access to. We had our coffee out in the balcony every morning. Easy access to the beach from the pool area too. Only a mile walk to Ocean Center, shops, and restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here while in Daytona.

This property was exactly as listed. There are two sleeping options. A murphy bed and a pull out sofa. They're both comfortable! The kitchen and living room have an amazing ocean view from the 7th floor, corner balcony. Andy was helpful from booking through checkout! Publix is very close. We stocked some groceries in the cute, cozy kitchen. Had our morning coffee overlooking Daytona Beach. The pool is brand new. For one or two people, the stay was perfect.

Unfortunately, the security guard will keep us from staying at this property again. A rather scary encounter that left us feeling uneasy and looking over our shoulder the rest of our stay, having a very belligerent, irrational, confrontational, and antagonizing type of personality toward us… concerns of damage to our vehicle or possibly calling in a gang… you just never know what someone could be capable of that was acting the way she was. She was dressed in full security guard uniform, so my husband asked to see her identification because she obviously was not behaving at all like a security guard. Was she just posing as one? She refused to show ID… My husband asked her name and she refused to give that. That was very telling… She knew she was up to no good otherwise it shouldn’t be a problem. Why didn’t we contact the host? Normally I would have, but he made it a point to let us know that the security guard as a friend of his. I figured that would do no good. Although the room was OK, he wasn’t the friendliest to communicate with. So I just left it alone and we just endured the rest of the trip. It’s too bad because… Not going back has nothing to do with the room itself. But I would never want to stay on that property again because I just don’t feel it’s safe. Thank you to the host for the clean room and accommodations. I wish you well. Pros: room was clean, the view is beautiful, met some friendly folks.
