Lake View Cottage - Private Dock and Fire Pit

We had a lovely stay over Memorial Day weekend. The house is very comfortable and welcoming, with everything we needed for a relaxing time. The hosts were extremely kind, helpful, and even generous — they really went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side that week, so we didn’t get to enjoy the beautiful dock by the lake as much as we had hoped. It’s a wonderful spot when the sun’s out, though. Short drive from Jim Thorpe.

A note for future guests: access to the dock could be a bit challenging if you’re not in good physical shape, as it involves some uneven terrain. The backyard is spacious and pleasant, though it’s quite open and doesn’t offer much privacy. Still, it’s a great place to sit out and enjoy the fresh air when the weather cooperates.

My boyfriend and our two small dogs really loved this Cottage it is right off the road and very private to ourselves just what we wanted. It is so peaceful and beautiful up there, We didn’t want to leave. Definitely recommend to any couple with kids or pets. Perfect place to get away from the city life and all the extra noise we got to enjoy the night full of stars and it was beautiful.

Just maybe more lighting surrounding the outside of the cottage since some of the sensor lights don’t seem to be all in working condition, other than that perfect place to getaway.
