WiFi strength poor in upper rooms. TV seemed to only pick up one local channel? Building work behind quite noisy at times although it seems most exterior work is now done?

Clean house, very comfortable. Quiet neighborhood.

Location was fine - I knew where the villa was and had a car so it wasn't an issue. The road it is on has got extremely busy and because the windows aren't very good, there was a lot of noise from the road even late at night. The hosts can't do anything about the noise though but future guests need to be aware.

We got a mid stay clean after two nights of being there for a 14 night stay. When I questioned it, they said this was when it was scheduled so took place then and there wasn't the option of rearranging it or having it when it was actually needed eg mid stay which would have been nice. I offered to pay for an additional clean but decided not to bother as there was a washing machine. I reported the back patio door lock was not working and the door was therefore insecure and could be opened from outside just by sliding the door open. We were assured it would get sorted and was reported to maintenance and we would be updated. We didn't. This was with about three days of the holiday left to go. It didn't get fixed for the remainder of the stay so this meant having to put any valuables in to a bedroom and lock that door. Knowing the door was insecure, especially overnight and with two young children in there, didn't exactly make for an easy nights sleep. There is major construction going on at the back where new villas are being built - whilst the rental company are keen to highlight it is beyond their control, there was apparently a one sentence heads up about it somewhere in the communications. It is beyond their control but I want to write an honest review in case the digging continues and it won't be a peaceful holiday. To be honest, we may have had an unfortunate fortnight but there was digging goin on every day from 7.30am with really heavy machinery. They were digging out new swimming pools using ground breaking machines. This caused not only a horrendous amount of noise but even vibrations through the pool. We had to leave for several hours on many days as it was unbearable. We got told the swimming pool was cloudy because of sunscreen but funnily enough after this they used the filters more and there was no issue with the pool. Using the pumps effectively really helped.
