The booking process is a little complicated. Although you book through booking.com, separate contracts are sent out and then there is a lot of bureaucratic hassle: photos of passports, ID cards, credit cards (with and without the person) must be submitted via an in-house portal. Use of the barbecue (gas bottle), interim cleaning, and towel changes must be booked separately. Only consumables such as dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, etc. are reimbursed. This is a vacation home rental, so I understand that. However, since we were traveling as colleagues who were working at IAAPA Orlando, it was quite an effort to go shopping during that time. Now that we know this, we would plan differently. Unfortunately, it was only after much back and forth, and only after booking got involved, that it was possible to obtain a proper invoice. This is essential, especially for corporate bookings.
