Calwons Bayith is a beautifully restored guest house situated in the quaint village of Cavorim in the Chandor region. As you enter the building, you walk through the cool marble floored hall , past the indoor swimming pool, and into one of the four guest rooms. The rooms are modern and very stylishly decorated, the double bed is big and comfortable. We were met by Clifton, the owner of the property, a lovely kind and helpful man who, with the help of Muny, made our week long stay a pleasure. A breakfast of your choice is included at a time that suits you. We had cereals, fruit & yoghurt, and toast every day . Muny will do eggs as you like them, too. A short walk away through the beautiful surrounding countryside is the town centre .here you can pick up supplies from the shops and local market.The guest house has cooking facilities so you can get your fresh fruit and veg here. In town there are also two 500year old Heritage houses. It is very interesting to learn about local history and get a feel for life in medieval Goa.very nice buildings and architecture. At the guest house,in the evenings, it was nice to sit in the garden beneath the gazebo ,with a drink, and listen to the local wildlife . Altogether, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.if we are ever in this area again, a stay at Calwons Bayith would be a must.

Nice place with very good amenities.

Not a big issue, but the shower in the bathroom needs to be attended to, the water pressure was rather low.
