KIENHOLZ by Stay in Brienz

The apartment has everything you need for a great stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge and excellent freezer. The coffee machine is wonderful, a proper Delonghi machine that grinds the beans freshly, fabulous! The beds are firm with nice linen and two king single quilts so great for restless sleepers. The bedroom had hanging space and a dresser. The kitchen table is adequate for two people, the armchairs are comfortable. There is a drying rack. The bathroom has a nice shower and good toiletries. The stove top works easily and well and there is a good choice of pits, pans etc. The apartment is secure with two locked entries and parking is right at the door. The location is great for exploring the area, mountains and the lake. Rosa met us and was very kind, there was a fruit basket on arrival and chocolates and biscuits for our trip on departure. Very nice!

Not something I dislike but it could be better explained- the property shows as having a washing machine , this is correct it is downstairs which is perfectly ok. However you have to book a time to use it and Rosa inserts a key for power. Rosa charges 6 CFH for a wash and possibly more if you use the dryer. We provided our own detergents so we’re only charged 3CHF per wash as we used the drying rack in the apartment. It seems that because there multiple apartments the machine is shared, again this is ok but it could be stated in the description. I automatically went down to put a load on - we have been traveling 9 weeks and the apartment was booked primarily because of the washing machine- only to find that I couldn’t use it without Rosa. Again, not a dislike just a comment.

Apartamento imaculadamente limpo e espaçoso - Cozinha muito bem apetrechada - ( cozinhei bastante e não senti falta de nada !!) Anfitriã de uma simpatia extrema, sem ser intrusiva. Muito bem localizado - perfeito para quem viaja de carro - estacionamento no local sem custos Aconselho e voltaria com muito prazer a este alojamento Foi PERFEITO !!
