Generally, the facilities were excellent, well-maintained, very clean, with well-equipped kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Location was excellent for visiting the sites on the Bodensee/Lake Konstanz. It is located in a quiet end of Markdorf but within easy walking for supermarkets, shops and cafes etc and the town centre. It is also easy to drive for links to major roads around the Lake and area so touring/days out are relatively easy. Facilities overall are very good, including an excellent massage chair. Excellent communication with the owners who are very friendly and extremely helpful.

Ideally, 6 to 7 people in the property is plenty as there are two very good bathrooms but only two. Parking for us wasn't an issue because we had only two cars that could be easily accommodated, one in the garage and one on street down from the property - the area is very peaceful and we of course took usual precautions making sure our car was secure on the lane but it is a very low risk area anyway, so we were not overly concerned, the car was fine. However, more than three cars might be an issue with parking. It seems to be both a residential and holiday stay area of the town so parking and access was clearly an issue for some local home owners. But we had no problems. Our host's instructions about parking were excellent and very fully explained so no issues for us.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in dieser Wohnung, kommen aber ganz bestimmt wieder! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichkeit des Vermieters! Die Wohnung ist wunderschön und sauber! Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet mit allem, was man zum Kochen braucht, und es ist sehr ruhig! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
