Villa Antonia

This is a small apartment in an excellent location if you don't mind some walking to the old town (cca 20 minutes) - only 10 minutes to the beach, close to supermarkets, and with enough parking space. We really enjoyed just walking around the corner and a few minutes down to the beach and getting a swim. The owners were nice and flexible regarding checkin/checkout. If you need anything, they're available. The building itself is secure and in a calm area. The furniture is old but clean. We would definitely stay here again if possible.

Some suggestions for improvement: the kitchen had enough pots, plates, glasses, utensils etc., but it was missing some essentials, such as a cutting board (!), a dish drying rack and a peeler. Our studio was located in the ground floor, close to the reception and apparently right by the housekeeping's storage room, so there was a lot of movement around the area - but otherwise it wasn't too noisy. The bed was too short for my boyfriend (I'd estimate the bed's length is 180 cm), but he slept well nonetheless. I prefer less bulky pillows, so I brought my own. Nothing of above mentioned affected our stay too much, and like I said, we'd definitely book this apartment again when returning to Rovinj!

There are many things that we like about the property 1. The apartments turned out to be even better in real life than in the photos. The furniture may date back to the 2000s, but it is solid, high-quality, and in perfect condition. 2. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable with good linens, and we had a large set of towels that were replaced regularly. 3. The kitchenette is extremely well equipped – all the dishes, pots, and pans are available and perfectly clean. The fridge had no odors, there is a small freezer, and even an electric kettle. 4. We especially loved the balcony with a table, chairs, cushions, and a tablecloth – we enjoyed all our meals there, and it will be one of the most memorable parts of our stay. 5. The shower was very convenient, with strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. 6. Soundproofing is excellent – we didn’t hear our neighbors at all. 7. Within 10–20 minutes walk, there are many clean, well-kept beaches with crystal-clear water . 8. Just 5–10 minutes away is a beautiful park filled with pine and oak trees, where you can enjoy the amazing pine scent all the way to the beach. 9. Bicycles can also be rented just 5 minutes from the villa to ride through the park and along the coastline. 10. There is safe parking right in the courtyard, which was very convenient. 11. And finally, the hosts were extremely hospitable and kind. They answered all our questions with great care (also in English), which made us feel very welcome. It was truly sad to leave Rovinj and this villa – we would love to come back again! This place offers an excellent combination of price, quality, and comfort – highly recommended!
